The fast left-back of Hoffenheim played an impressive U21 tournament in Poland. The scouts from the top clubs also noticed it. Antonio Conte is a big fan of him as he sent scouts to watch him in action for Germany Under 21’s, reports the German newspaper “Bild“. But they face competition from Naples, who also want him to buy now.
Toljan can play different positions. He normally plays as a left-back but for German Under 21’s he played as a right-back. In Hoffenheim, he played 11 of 20 matches as a right-midfielder. He is also known for his speed and he showed this strongly in the Under 21’s European championship. He assisted three goals and so he was elected by “Team of the Tournament” through his strong performances.
Hoffenheim wants to sign a new deal with the 22-year-old Jeremy Toljan, who has only one year left on his contract. Talks are ongoing for a contract extension. If Hoffenheim wants to get a transfer fee for Toljan, they will have to sell him in this summer. However, for now there is no concrete offer.
