Chelsea have launched a fresh new bid for Swansea striker Fernando Llorente, according to the Times newspaper.
This goes right after Manchester United’s intervention on Chelsea’s number one target, Romelu Lukaku. Antonio Conte is reportedly still keen on the Spanish centre forward, who he worked with at previous club Juventus.
Chelsea and Swansea have only recently come to terms with an agreement sending Tammy Abraham out on loan. Chelsea will hope that Swansea can pay back the favour in allowing Llorente to come to London. Llorente is on the final year of his contract – and after scoring over 15 goals for Swansea last season, the Swans will be keen on keeping him in Wales.
