Chelsea are coming into this after an emphatic 3-0 win over London rivals Arsenal in China. No major injury concerns for this game, other than Pedro, who has had to fly back to the UK, after suffering concussion and facial injuries, from a clash with David Ospina. However, new signing Alvaro Morata will be available for selection after he flew out to meet the squad in Singapore. However, he will most likely not start after only being with the squad for a very short amount of time. Batshuayi looks set to continue from the start, after his fine performance which saw him be rewarded with two goals. The same goes for Antonio Rudiger also, after his arrival to the Blues from Roma. Boga impressed also, with his performance against Arsenal, and could be in contention to replace Pedro in the starting eleven.
Bayern Munich will be coming into this game on Tuesday after a heavy defeat to AC Milan last week. No new injury concerns other than Juan Bernat, who picked up an ankle injury in the first half in the game against Milan. James Rodriguez is in contention to start for the German side, after he recently signed for the club on loan from Real Madrid.
Absolute Chelsea’s preferred line-up:
Moses, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Luiz, Alonso
Willian, Batshuayi, Boga
