Chelsea are considering activating the €40m release clause of Barcelona utility player Sergi Roberto, according to Spanish publication ‘Sport’.
They face competition from Manchester United and Juventus who are also making the same consideration.
Chelsea Manager Antonio Conte has personally pushed for the Spanish International and feels he can offer him a main role at Stamford Bridge.
Roberto could consider leaving due to his lack of guaranteed game time at The Camp Nou this season. As well as this, he is likely to get his wages doubled if he does leave.
