Chelsea are reluctant to give up on the potential signing of Alex Sandro from Juventus, as they wait on the full-back to hand in a transfer request to leave the club.
Reports suggested Chelsea made another enquiry for the Brazilian yesterday, however the stance from the Italian club hasn’t changed, that he is not for sale this summer.
Chelsea have had two bids rejected for the 26-year-old of £52 million and an increased offer of £61 million.
Juventus have already lost Leonardo Bonucci to Seria A rivals AC Milan, and aren’t willing to let another one of their key players leave.
Once a player wants to leave Juventus, they tend to sell them, with only wanting players who want to be at the club, and this is what Chelsea think they can do.
They are trying to persuade Sandro to ask to leave, so it allows the London club to swoop in and get their main man.
