Reports in Italy via Tuttosport suggest that Chelsea have made an offer for Torino forward Andrea Belotti, with a fee believed to be around €70m. It has inevitably been rejected by the Serie A Club.
Torino say the 23-year old is not for sale this summer, however, it is reported that the Italian International has a €100m release clause.
Belotti has been mentioned as a Blues target all summer, but many assumed once Morata has been signed then no more big name strikers will arrive.
The Italian hitman is a robust all round number 9 type striker and could perhaps bring a different element up top for Antonio Conte’s Chelsea, should this of course turn out to be true.
Chelsea seem to be testing the waters with an offer, but if they really want him, they won’t have to pay a lot more to hit his release clause.
