Spanish forward Fernando Llorente has joined Tottenham on a two-year deal from Swansea City.

It was a straight fight between Chelsea and Tottenham, but Spurs swooped in having a bid accepted, which is believed to be around £15 million.

Chelsea followed suit with matching that offer, however it came too late in the day and Spurs have secured themselves a back-up forward to goal machine Harry Kane.

Chelsea have been linked with Llorente ever since Conte’s arrival, and it looks to leave Conte disappointed on losing out on one of his main targets.
