Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey was watched upon by Chelsea officials on Friday night as the London club eye him up.
According to the Daily Mail, the Blues went to see him in action against Stuttgart. They were rewarded as the Jamaican set up both of their goals in the win.
Bailey, who is only 20-years-old and arrived for £12.75m, has already netted four times this season as well as assisting on four occasions as well.
Through impressive performances, Barcelona and fellow English club Liverpool are reportedly interested in the Bundesliga star.
The report continues that Chelsea held a meeting with his representatives when they made the trip to Germany, in order to try to establish what would be needed for both parties to come to an agreement.
If Chelsea want Bailey, they will have to act fast with elite clubs also in contention, but will have put their money where there mouth is due to the 20-year-old only recently arriving at Leverkusen.
He would provide extra competition alongside Eden Hazard, Willian, Pedro and youngster Charly Musonda, if he were to make the switch to England and Chelsea.
