Transfer speculation is starting to rise with the January transfer window fast approaching and according to sources in France, Chelsea have joined the affray who are interested in AS Monaco midfielder Thomas Lemar.
The Frenchman was the subject of a £92m bid from the Gunners in the summer but any move failed to materialise.
French newspaper L’Equipe have reported that Chelsea have made contact with the Ligue 1 champions, and the thought about a potential move is ever-growing.
Many of Lemar’s team-mates left in the summer, Mbappe, Bernardo Silva and Tiemoue Bakayoko, who has joined Antonio Conte’s side.
However, with the nature of this deal and the price tag, would Chelsea be willing to pay up £100m that Monaco believe the 22-year-old is worth.
