Chelsea midfielder Kyle Scott was denied a loan move away from the club in August, and contract negotiations for a new deal have stalled despite having 18 months left on his current deal.
The Sun report that Scott isn’t worried about the money involved but it is more down to the fact he wants to be playing regular first-team football.
This latest revelation has interested Leicester City and Huddersfield Town as they are looking for long-term players to join their respective clubs.
The 19-year-old was all set to join Championship side Reading in the summer, however due to the Danny Drinkwater deal not being a certain one, the Blues weren’t ready to risk a midfielder leaving the club without one coming in.
As a result of Drinkwater joining Chelsea, it has left Scott near the bottom of the pecking order, leaving him frustrated.
It isn’t a surprise, since Roman Abramovich has owned the club, several youngsters have been overseen in order for big names to come in, Nathan Ake, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Nathaniel Chalobah, and now Kyle Scott could be the next.
