City boss Pep Guardiola has complimented Antonio Conte in the way he sets his Chelsea side out to play.

He also handed out credit to his upcoming opponents Tottenham Hotspur, but failed to mention rivals Manchester United, in a slight dig at their rivals.

Guardiola spoke about the two London sides very highly, in the wake of their recent 2-1 victory in the Manchester derby last weekend.

Former Blue Kevin De Bruyne was the difference when City came to Stamford Bridge in September.

“I think Tottenham are with Chelsea as the best team in wanting to play football.

“They don’t expect their opponents [to force the play], they want to make their own game.”

The side who sit 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League are nearly out of sight in the race for the title, and despite being praised, Antonio Conte will be far from satisfied on the Blues’ league position.
