Juventus are reportedly willing to let go of Brazilian full-back Alex Sandro in the upcoming January transfer window.
As per the Express, the Italian club have given Chelsea the green light to come and prize one of their key assets away from the club.
Sandro has yet to sign a new deal despite his current contract lasting until 2020, and Juventus are now happy for the 26-year-old to leave Turin.
Antonio Conte tried to bring the Brazilian to Stamford Bridge in the summer but several bids, the highest being £55m, were all turned down as Juventus were holding out for at least £70m if they were going to part with Sandro.
But as the report states, the Italian champions will let the defender make his move first, a move that he didn’t want to make in the summer, in order to get the ball rolling.
Chelsea is his preferred option according to several reports, but Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Manchester United are all interested in the 26-year-old.
If he were to join, he would provide Marcos Alonso with competition, who has scored the most goals as a defender in the Premier League since the start of last season.
The club will need to move quicker than usual in order to prize Alex Sandro to London.
