Chelsea are considering a January move for PSG winger Lucas Moura, reports French media outlet Buzz Sport
PSG intend to raise €80 million in January in order to comply with UEFA Financial Fair Play rules so Lucas amongst others will be allowed to depart.
Moura, 25, has not made an appearance in Ligue 1 since the beginning of November and was completely omitted from the eighteen in four of PSG’s last six league meetings. This is despite Lucas scoring 19 times last season.
The 25-year-old would be seen as a replacement for Willian whose future appears to be uncertain. Buzz Sport suggest that Willian could favour a lucrative move to China. It is also believed that Lucas would favour a move to the Premier League.
Lucas’ value would be cheap in the current transfer market so Chelsea will not be the only club vying for the Brazilian’s services. Manchester United were in for the Brazilian whilst at Santos so expect former manager Jose Mourinho to be actively watching any developments.
With the player favouring a move to England then Chelsea surely have a strong chance of acquiring him. This is despite reports earlier this month that he was set for a move to Beijing.
