Chelsea vs Brentford: Preview, team news, how to watch, kick-off time & prediction
Chelsea host Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday as Mauricio Pochettino looks to continue the positive momentum.
It’s been a positive period for Chelsea following a mixed start to the campaign. Three wins in a row was followed up with a draw against Arsenal last weekend, despite the Blues taking a two nil lead in west London.
But Chelsea remain in a positive mood and as the injury list continues to reduce, Pochettino’s side are hoping to claim another result to continue heading into the right direction.
“We are in a situation where we are still improving,” said Pochettino ahead of the game.
“We’re still far away from what we expect and where we want. Yes, I think it’s important to get this momentum after the games.
“We have another possibility tomorrow, an opportunity to show ourselves we can keep this momentum.”
Chelsea will be without Armando Broja, Trevoh Chalobah, Carney Chukwuemeka, Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku.
Reece James will start on the bench, Pochettino revealed, with Malo Gusto in line to retain his spot at right-back for the west London derby.
Here are all of the details ahead of Chelsea versus Brentford in the Premier League.
