Chelsea host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League this weekend and Frank Lampard’s side are aiming for back-to-back wins for the first time since March.
When the full-time whistle blew last weekend, it was a moment of joy but relief for Chelsea. A 3-1 win over in-form AFC Bournemouth saw Lampard claim his first victory as caretaker manager to secure the league double over the Cherries.
Forest head to the capital this weekend sitting three points above the relegation zone. Steve Cooper’s side clinched a huge three points in midweek with a 4-3 win over relegation-bound Southampton to boost their survival hopes.
These two sides met on New Year’s Day and it ended all square after Serge Aurier cancelled out Raheem Sterling‘s 16th minute opener at the City Ground.
Here is all the information for the league encounter:

Chelsea team news to face Nottingham Forest
Reece James, Kalidou Koulibaly, Mason Mount and Armando Broja remain sidelined. Lampard confirmed: “Chilwell is not fit. We are hoping he will be fit possibly for the last game or two of the season. Mount is maybe a little bit similar, but Reece I think is slightly behind that.”
Wesley Fofana has trained ahead of the game and is available, while Lewis Hall is in contention due to Marc Cucurella and Ben Chilwell both being absent.
“Lewis has a chance (of starting),” confirmed Lampard pre-match. “I was tempted to put him on last week, but with the nature of the game I felt the experience of Azpi was more suitable at that point. I will view this game on its merits.”
