Chelsea are ‘seriously pushing’ for Borussia Dortmund teenager Youssoufa Moukoko, who is out of contract at the end of the season, according to reports.

Moukoko, 18, is yet to pen an extension with the Bundesliga club and top European sides are starting to express interest in signing him on a free transfer.

Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with Moukoko, but it appears Chelsea are the club who are most advanced if he is to leave Dortmund.

Moukoko wants a decision to be made soon over his future and contact has been made with Dortmund over an extension, however nothing is close his agent Patrick Williams has confirmed.

He told Sky Germany: “I can confirm that we are not yet about to conclude a contract extension with Borussia Dortmund.

“I can also assure you that the numbers that are circulating are simply not correct and Youssoufa was never offered that way.

“But we are still in contact with Borussia Dortmund and will see what the next few days bring.”

Chelsea are ready to pounce if Moukoko fails to agree a new deal at Dortmund. As per Florian Plettenberg, Graham Potter’s side are ‘seriously pushing’ for the 18-year-old’s signature.

Time is running out for Dortmund to ensure the highly-rated teenager remains with them.

Should Chelsea swoop in and successfully land Moukoko, which they could try to do as early as January following the season-ending ACL injury to Armando Broja, he could face Dortmund in the Champions League when the two sides go head-to-head in the last-16 in February.
