Chelsea vs Aston Villa: Live stream, TV channel, kick-off time, team news and prediction
Chelsea are back in action this weekend when they welcome Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
Graham Potter’s side currently sit in 10th in the Premier League and are on level on points with Villa ahead of the encounter.
Both sides are on 38 points and a win for either team could leapfrog them up to ninth place should they better Fulham’s result at AFC Bournemouth.
Chelsea are on a four game unbeaten streak in all competitions following a positive March (W3, D1) and will be hoping to continue the momentum after the conclusion of the last international break of the season.
“It’s an exciting month, but the focus for us is to stay present and think about the game, a tough game against Aston Villa,” said Potter ahead of the game. “We need to respond to the disappointment against Everton.”
“For us, we have to think our goal is on the next match and win the game,” added Potter on their aims for the rest of the season. “We’re Chelsea, we want to win.”
On Aston Villa boss Unai Emery, Potter replied: “He’s done a fantastic job (at Aston Villa). He’s had a fantastic career, someone I’ve always looked up to. Looking forward to seeing him.”

Chelsea team news to face Aston Villa
Available: Reece James, N’Golo Kante, Mason Mount, Kai Havertz
Unavailable: Edouard Mendy, Wesley Fofana, Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, Raheem Sterling
Doubtful: Christian Pulisic
“Thiago and Azpi are still away,” confirmed Potter pre-match. “Raheem’s coming back but he will miss the game, he’s got more chance for Tuesday (against Liverpool). He was close.
“Mason has trained and is available, probably not from the start but in the squad. Wesley is going to miss the game because his hamstring is still a little bit tight, I think there is a chance for Tuesday.
“Christian Pulisic is the only one really, he has a heavy hold returning from international duty so he’s the one we have to check on.
“Kai was fever but he’s recovered now and has trained the last couple of days. Reece is well. He has had the last two sessions with us, so provided there is no reaction, he should be available for tomorrow as well.”
