Chelsea host Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon at Stamford Bridge.

After a 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup semi-finals in midweek, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are under the spotlight as they head into Saturday’s west London derby.

The 51-year-old, whose side currently sit 10th in the Premier League, is adamant Chelsea are ready for their west London neighbours in a bid to quickly put the Boro defeat behind them.

“I think it’s a different game,” Pochettino said. “They are in a really good moment. They are performing really well and have really good players. We didn’t perform badly against Middlesbrough and we came from a few victories.

“I think we need to keep the momentum. It’s true that it’s the first-leg and we are 1-0 down but we need to keep the belief. I think the team is feeling well, is confident for tomorrow (Saturday) and I am so sure we are going to do a very good job.”

Chelsea will continue to be without Christopher Nkunku due to a hip injury, but could welcome back Ben Chilwell, Benoit Badiashile and Carney Chukwuemeka from injury to the matchday squad.
