“I thank God” – Andrey Santos makes huge personal life decision ahead of summer Chelsea return

Andrey Santos tied the knot with his partner Yngryd in a ceremony in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday.
It’s been quite the start to the year for Andrey Santos following his dream move to the Premier League during the January transfer window after Chelsea completed the £18 million transfer.
Santos was forced to return to Vasco da Gama until the summer after Chelsea’s attempts of obtaining a work permit failed, meaning he would have to wait a little longer before another application could be made to allow him to join up with the first-team squad.
Chelsea hope Santos will be able to be part of their pre-season camp, which will be under a new boss – expected to be Mauricio Pochettino.
But ahead of his return to England in a couple months, Andrey has made a huge personal decision by getting married to his partner Yngryd, with the couple sharing their celebrations on social media following the ceremony in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday morning.
Taking to Instagram, Andrey had a special message for his wife, writing: “You are very special to everyone, everyone is enchanted by your way of being, at the beginning of our relationship I was impressed by your beauty, your character, your humility, in the way you treat your parents, and in your good heart!
“From the first day I met you, I felt something different. You were a gift from God in my life, I was sure it was you. Everything happened very fast, and with a lot of intensity and love! But God was always ahead!
“I thank God for sending me a gift like you, in which I want to build our family, our children, have our house, and live our dreams, projects and grow together, always next to each other.
“I promise that I will take care of you, with all the love in the world, I promise to do everything to get a smile out of you, and I promise that I will do everything for our family!
“I love you so much, this date will be marked forever in my life! Forever me and you and God, my Wife.”
