James, Azpilicueta, Kante, Pulisic, Aubameyang: Potter confirms Chelsea team news to face Spurs
Graham Potter has confirmed the Chelsea team news to face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Chelsea make the short trip across the capital this weekend to face their fierce London rivals as they look to end their dismal run of form.
They are without a win in their last five games in all competitions, losing their previous two against Borussia Dortmund, and most recently against bottom-of-the-table Southampton last weekend which saw the team get loudly booed off by the Stamford Bridge faithful.

As a result, Chelsea are in 10th place in the Premier League but Potter’s position remains not under threat after another round of backing from co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali.
Reece James and Thiago Silva are set to return for Chelsea after being rested for Sunday’s derby. But Cesar Azpilicueta won’t be available to face Spurs after his head injury against Southampton last week which saw him hospitalised.
Potter told reporters: “He’s as ok as can be when you’ve had that concussion.
“He won’t be ready for the weekend as we have to go through the protocols, but he’s doing well.”
N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic are unavailable after stepping up their comebacks with involvement in training this week, albeit not a full return. However, everyone else who is currently fit are available for selection.
Potter added: “We’ve had a good weeks training. Everybody is available apart from N’Golo and Christian Pulisic, who are making progress and joining the warm-up. They’ll be more integrated next week.”
Meanwhile, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been left out in recent weeks, but remains in contention to be selected.
The Chelsea head coach concluded: “He’s had a really good training week. He’s available for selection.”
