Chelsea face Leicester City in the Premier League this weekend hoping to clinch a third consecutive win in all competitions.

Graham Potter’s side have managed to stop the rot which saw Chelsea go on a run of six matches without defeat, including three defeats in a row before their league encounter against Leeds United last weekend.

Chelsea overcame their struggles to record their first win since January thanks to Wesley Fofana’s second half header to seal a 1-0 victory in the capital.

They took the momentum into their midweek Champions League tie and overturned a one-goal deficit to claim a 2-0 win against Borussia Dortmund to progress into the quarter-finals, recording back-to-back wins for the first time since October.

“We’ve had a tough period,” reflected head coach Graham Potter, who delivered when it mattered most in a ‘make or break’ week. “We had to respond against Leeds. We played a good game against Dortmund away but we lost and in the moment we’re in, nobody wants to hear that you’ve played well, had some chances and should’ve scored.

“We had a poor first-half against Southampton and then it can quickly spiral into another unpleasant situation. Everybody had to stick together and the players have done that in an incredible way. A big thanks to the supporters. They were amazing tonight and they were amazing on Saturday.”

Chelsea will now be looking to build on those two wins when they come up against Leicester City, who sit in 16th place and just two points above the relegation zone.

Here is all the information for the league encounter:
