Chelsea begin their 2022/23 FA Cup campaign with a third round tie against Manchester City.

The two sides met on Thursday on in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge which saw Pep Guardiola’s side win 1-0 thanks to a Riyad Mahrez tap-in in the 63rd minute from a Jack Grealish cross.

Chelsea will be seeking revenge after the midweek defeat, and they have also already been knocked out of the Carabao Cup by the Citizens back in November.

Graham Potter knows he needs to turn Chelsea’s form around after winning just one of their last eight league games.

The Chelsea head coach isn’t focused on what could happen at the end of the season regarding their Premier League finish amid hopes of a top four finish. Potter wants his team to unite and take each game as it comes.

“I think given the situation we’re in, to think about what is going to happen in five months’ time is the wrong path for us. We just have to focus on the next day and the next game.
