Napoli have set their asking price for Victor Osimhen amid growing interest from across Europe this summer, according to reports.

The 24-year-old is one of the most-wanted strikers ahead of the summer transfer window, with the Nigeria international having an incredible season at Napoli who currently lead the way in the Serie A.

Osimhen has scored 25 goals and registered five assists in his 29 appearances in all competitions this season, earning interest from Europe’s top clubs.

Chelsea have been linked with Osimhen and according to Foot Mercato, Graham Potter’s side ‘in the running’, however they ‘would not be in a strong position’. Manchester United are also interested in the forward and would be prepared to pay the asking price.

Napoli are wanting €150 million after paying just €80 million back in 2020 when they acquired him from LOSC Lille.

PSG are also keen on Osimhen and advisor Luis Campos ‘has planned to meet the player’s agents during this international break’.

Osimhen has already expressed his admiration for the Premier League and revealed earlier this month that he ‘dreams’ of a switch to England.

“I think playing in one of the top five leagues in the world is an amazing feeling for me.

“A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest league but now I’m in one of the best leagues in the world which is the Italian Serie A.

“I’m working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League some day but like I said, it’s a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well.”

Chelsea have already signed one forward ahead of the summer. Christopher Nkunku is expected to arrive from RB Leipzig after a fee of more than €60 million was agreed between the clubs.

An overhaul is expected at Stamford Bridge this summer, with many players’ futures also unclear, including Romelu Lukaku and Mason Mount. Lukaku, currently on loan at Inter Milan, will return to Chelsea before his short and long term future is discussed.
