Noni Madueke is set to complete his move to Chelsea in the coming days after a fee was agreed with PSV over the transfer.

The 20-year-old is set to become Chelsea’s sixth signing of the month after a breakthrough was made in talks with the Eredivisie side.

Reports in the Netherlands stated that there is a ‘very large bag of money on the table’ as things moved quickly on Thursday to wrape up a deal.

And here at Absolute Chelsea, we have all the latest information ahead of the move.

How much will Chelsea pay for Noni Madueke?

Dutch journalist and PSV transfer insider Rik Elfrink broke the news regarding a fee being agreed between the two sides.

He reported that the Blues will pay up to €40 million in total for Madueke, but this sum included add-ons.

This news was added to by The Athletic’s David Ornstein, who stated that the deal is expected to be worth around £30 million in total, with Chelsea meeting the valuation of PSV after lengthy talks.

When will Noni Madueke have his Chelsea medical?

Elfrink continued to report that Madueke will travel to London soon as his medical is set to take place this week.

Ornstein added to this, stating that he will be making his way to London on Thursday night after terms were agreed around the deal.

Therefore, Madueke could see his medical take place as early as Friday morning before Chelsea face Liverpool in Premier League action.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed this, stating that the player is set to land in London on Thrusday before undergoing a medical on Friday.

What is the length of Noni Madueke’s contract at Chelsea?

It is unclear as to how long Madueke will join the Blues for but if the recent history is anything to go by, he could sign a long-term deal.

Mykhailo Mudryk penned himself a massive eight-an-a-half year contract when he completed his signing from Shakthar Donetsk.

This was on an initial seven-and-a-half-year contract, with the option of a further year.

Will Noni Madueke be available to face Liverpool?

Madueke could complete his signing before Chelsea take to the pitch at Anfield on Saturday.

While Joao Felix signed just a day before his Chelsea debut, it remains unclear as to whether Madueke could do hte same.

Elfrink reported that the Blues are trying to get the deal done for Madueke to face Liverpool on Saturday with his new teammates.

However, in the case of Felix, he took part in a training session before being named in the line-up against Fulham and Chelsea were dealing with an injury crisis.

Plus, with a 12:30pm kick-off time, things will be a rush and it could take somewhat of a footballing miracle for Madueke to be in the squad.

Hakim Ziyech is available to play off the right-wing against Liverpool, but it appears that Potter and Co are looking to get Madueke into the squad instantly.
