Luke Newton – Founder (@LukeNewtonSport)

Luke Newton is a passionate Chelsea fan since 1998. His love for the game steered back to when he was a kid, going to Stamford Bridge Champions League nights with his Nan. Luke is also an active Sunday League footballer, who plays as a centre back. With his Surrey Cup final experience at Under 16 level, he thought he was going to be the next John Terry – he was obviously wrong. Luke has a passion for Football Journalism and therefore founded Absolute Chelsea for his own portfolio of work. As Absolute Chelsea grew a lot in the first year, Luke decided to ask for volunteers to write for the website. Absolute Chelsea is now a well established independent football news website.

Matt Debono – Absolute Chelsea Social Media Admin & Contributor (@mattdebonosport)

He’s born a blue, and 17 years on, he is still one. A young lad from Buckinghamshire, travelling up and down the country to support Chelsea, and seeing those special nights unfold. Not much of an active player nowadays, but the passion he holds for the game, he decides to officiate and write about them instead. Giving his opinions and breaking the latest news. An opportunity came along at Absolute Chelsea for him, and here he is. This won’t be the last of him.

Dan Barker – Absolute Podcast Contributor, Pre-Match Analysis writer (@danbarkzr)

A passionate Blues fan from Nottingham and he’s been a blue for as long as he can remember, Dan Barker is a keen player of football as well as Basketball, with a Fabregas-esque playmaking role his preferred style in both sports. Unfortunately, multiple ACL tears have hindered his ability to play regularly or at a high level so Dan now concentrates on writing about and analysing the game instead. His passion for Nathaniel Chalobah never ceases to amaze the Absolute Chelsea team. Look for his work both on Absolute Chelsea and on the Absolute Podcast.

  Chris Bradford – Editor (@ChrisUTC97)

Chris Bradford is 20 and from Manchester. He is a student at the University of Liverpool. Chris is a member of Chelsea FC and attends as many games as possible. He is an aspiring journalist and has built up experience through his work with the Sphinx (student newspaper) at university. Chris has used the experience gained so far at the Sphinx, to articulate his thoughts on the Club he loves. His favourite player is Gianfranco Zola – an extremely technical player and someone who, arguably, kick-started a football revolution at the Club during the mid-90s.

“When Luke advertised that AC were looking for writers, it was an opportunity that could not pass me by. I have an aspiration to become a journalist so it is important to build a portfolio; Absolute Chelsea is the best place for me to achieve this. It is an honour to be a part of AC and I am extremely excited to be a part of a rapidly emerging news outlet”

Paree – Contributor (@ACParee)

Paree has been a Chelsea fan for as long as you could ever think. His favourite player is Eden Hazard, but plays in midfield for his Sunday league team, with passing like Fabregas. He found out AbsoluteChelsea when following them on twitter, and is now writing for them and is very grateful to be part of the Absolute Chelsea team. Paree can do graphics, but his main thing is writing posts and expressing the opinions to hundreds of Chelsea fans. Paree can also be involved in the technology part of Absolute Chelsea. Expect to find him in the Podcasts and writing many posts.
