Chelsea travel to Old Trafford on Thursday night to face Manchester United in the Premier League.

Frank Lampard is approaching the end of his caretaker spell at Stamford Bridge, with two games left to play before he departs Chelsea and is replaced by Mauricio Pochettino who has agreed terms on a three-year deal.

After losing 1-0 to Premier League champions Manchester City last time out, Chelsea head across Manchester to Old Trafford five days later to face Erik ten Hag’s side who are on the verge of securing Champions League football next season.

United need one point from their two remaining games to ensure they head back to the Champions League after a 2022/23 campaign of Europa League action.

It ended in a draw in the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge earlier this season after Casemiro’s stoppage time goal levelled the game after Jorginho’s 87th minute penalty.

So how could Chelsea line-up against Manchester United?

Possible XI: Kepa, Chalobah, Silva, Fofana, Azpilicueta, Enzo, Loftus-Cheek, Gallagher, Hall, Madueke, Felix

Kepa Arrizabalaga returned to the starting XI against Man City after Edouard Mendy was preferred in the 2-2 draw to Nottingham Forest.

Benoit Badiashile has been ruled out for several months with a hamstring injury. Marc Cucurella, Kalidou Koulibaly, Reece James and Ben Chilwell are all out injured.

Mason Mount, N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic are all set to be absent due to injury, which could hand Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Conor Gallagher the chance to start at Old Trafford.

Raheem Sterling has a hamstring issue, England boss Gareth Southgate has revealed, which could see Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke return to the starting XI on Thursday.

Joao Felix is available for selection again, Lampard has confirmed, after missing the defeat to Man City due to a small injury.
