Revealed: How much Chelsea’s new signing Mykhailo Mudryk costs on Fantasy Premier League

Following Mykhailo Mudryk’s transfer to Chelsea this month, his Fantasy Premier League price has been revealed.

The 22-year-old took part in his first training session on Monday at Chelsea‘s Cobham training ground after his move from Shakhtar Donetsk was confirmed on Sunday afternoon during the first half of their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge, where he was introduced to the crowd at half-time.

Chelsea paid the Ukrainian side £88 million for Mudryk, including £26 million in add-ons, beating Arsenal in the race for the winger this month, which has seen him take the number 15 shirt at Stamford Bridge.

“I’m so happy to sign for Chelsea,” Mudryk told the official Chelsea website. “This is a huge club, in a fantastic league and it is a very attractive project for me at this stage of my career.

“I’m excited to meet my new teammates and I’m looking forward to working and learning under Graham Potter and his staff.”

Mudryk could make his Chelsea debut at Anfield on Saturday afternoon when Chelsea head north to face a struggling Liverpool side who were thumped 3-0 by Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.

However, it will be down to Graham Potter over whether he feels his January signing is ready to play. If Joao Felix‘s involvement against Fulham less than 48 hours after his arrival, despite getting sent off, is anything to go by, Mudryk will be in the starting XI.

Ahead of Saturday’s clash, Mudryk’s Fantasy Premier League price has been revealed.

He will cost £7 million and will be available to include in teams as a midfielder and not a forward.

Graham Potter, who played his part in Mudryk’s move after a personal phone call, has a decision to make over whether he face Jurgen Klopp’s side.

The Chelsea head coach was extremely complimentary of their new acquisition, admitting: “He is a young player with exciting quality in the final third. He is very fast and direct and I think the crowd will like him.”

He added: “In terms of what he brings, he’s a player with a big future, exciting, one vs one, he’s very direct, he attacks the back-line, can go into wide areas but also affects the goal.

“A really exciting player and I think our supporters will really like him.”
