Confirmed Officials: Chelsea vs Brighton & Hove Albion | Premier League
The officials have been confirmed for Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side head to the capital looking to do the Premier League double over Chelsea after their 4-1 thumping on October 29 over then-Graham Potter’s Blues side.
Frank Lampard has been tasked of overseeing the side until the end of the season following Potter’s departure, but there have been no signs of positivity after back-to-back defeats in his opening two games in charge.
A dismal 1-0 loss at Wolves was followed up by Real Madrid putting two past Chelsea at the Bernabeu on Wednesday.
Lampard admitted post-Real Madrid that the squad is struggling for confidence after a tough 2022/23 campaign and called for the players to believe in themselves to help overcome the current difficult period.
The 44-year-old said: “There’s a little bit of a lack of belief. I think the players need to understand how good they are and what they can do. Maybe we’re a bit short on that at the minute.”
They have a chance to put the last week right on Saturday when they host Brighton, who will want to bounce back at the first attempt after their controversial 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
Now the officials for the league meeting have been revealed by the Premier League ahead of the encounter.

The Premier League confirmed that Robert Jones will take charge of the meeting in the capital.
