Chelsea have another London derby this weekend when they face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Graham Potter‘s side head across the capital to face their fierce rivals looking to reduce the gap to those chasing a top four spot.

11 points separate Spurs and Chelsea as Antonio Conte’s side occupy the final Champions League qualification place.

Chelsea are without a win in their last five matches (D3, L2) in all competitions, losing their last two, with their previous win away from home coming over four months ago back in October 2022 when they beat Aston Villa 2-0 at Villa Park.

The pressure is on Potter to start winning games after Chelsea were booed off at home to Southampton last weekend following their 1-0 defeat. Despite the loss, the hierarchy remain in support of the 47-year-old who will need a massive result against Spurs this weekend to avoid the pressure intensifying.

Chelsea team news to face Tottenham Hotspur

Edouard Mendy, Christian Pulisic and Armando Broja remain sidelined. N’Golo Kante was in part training in the lead up to the game, but he won’t be in contention for selection to make the matchday squad.

Wesley Fofana and Denis Zakaria made the matchday squad in the Southampton defeat, with Fofana coming off at half-time, while Mateo Kovacic started the game, building up his return. Raheem Sterling likewise, he also came on at half-time on Saturday against the Saints.

Reece James and Thiago Silva were rested and are both expected to slot straight back into the team, while Ben Chilwell is likely to retain his place at left-back. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be pushing to make the squad after being snubbed for the previous four.
