Chelsea have another London derby this weekend when they face West Ham in the Premier League.

Both sides head into the clash in the capital following draws last weekend. Chelsea were held in a goalless draw against Fulham, while West Ham came from behind to claim a point away to Newcastle United.

It sees Chelsea currently sit in ninth place and ten points off the Champions League spots. For David Moyes’ side, they are just one point from safety in 16th place.

“I’m confident with the potential that we have, with the ability that is in the group,” responded Potter on Chelsea’s top four chances. “What we need to do now is gel the team. That’s the challenge.

“There’s a lot of football to play but at the same time I don’t want to waste too much time worrying about what we’re going to do in four months’ time, I want to focus on the next day, the next training session and the next game.”

Chelsea have won four of the last five meetings (W4, L1) and will be hoping to pile the pressure on Moyes as they eye fourth game in a row without defeat.

Chelsea team news to face West Ham

Chelsea welcomed back Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling from injury against Fulham. All three are set to be in contention once again as they step up their return to full fitness.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also in the same predicament, while Wesley Fofana will continue his road to recovery from a knee injury.

Edouard Mendy, Denis Zakaria, N’Golo Kante, Christian Pulisic and Armando Broja remain out. When Mateo Kovacic could return remains unclear.

Joao Felix will be available for selection again following suspension, with Mykhailo Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez both pushing for another start in the London derby this weekend.
