Chelsea announce Hilton as club’s official global hotel partner
American hospitality company Hilton have been named as Chelsea’s global hotel partner for the upcoming campaign.
In a club statement, the west London side revealed plans for the multinational to act as the team’s ‘home away from home’ hosting the squad for their away fixtures taking place within London.
As well as this, Hilton will house the men’s side for their upcoming pre-season tour in the USA.
The Blues will face fellow Premier League sides Brighton & Hove Albion, Newcastle and Fulham in Philadelphia, Atlanta and Maryland respectively, sandwiched in between exciting fixtures against AFC Wrexham and Borussia Dortmund.
The tour will take place between July 19 and August 2, with Chelsea confirmed to stay in Hilton hotels at all of their stops along the way, following the partnership announcement.
Alongside this, Chelsea, in collaboration with Hilton, have pledged a plethora of extended opportunities for over 158 million Hilton Honors members around the world.
John Rodgers, Head of Global Partnerships at Chelsea, expressed his delight at the announcement.
“Ahead of our exciting visit to the States in July and August for pre-season tour, we are very pleased to team up with such a prestigious name as Hilton for the future,” said Rodgers.
Chelsea will also be the first football club to work alongside Hilton with Rodgers proclaiming immense pride at this feat.
Stijn Bastiaens, Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, Hilton, reiterated Rodger’s thoughts on the new partnership.
“We’re thoroughly looking forward to collaborating with such an esteemed and world-renowned club as Chelsea. Through the partnership we’ll be launching unique content and experiences to our Hilton Honors members, as well as extending the most welcoming Hilton stays to the Chelsea team while they’re travelling on tour.
Hilton Hotels will be advertised at both men’s and women’s home fixture’s as well as across the club’s digital platforms for the upcoming 2023/24 Premier League and Women’s Super League seasons.
