Mauricio Pochettino is hoping to end Chelsea’s dismal record at Old Trafford when they face Manchester United on Wednesday night.

Chelsea haven’t recorded a win over Man United away from home since May 2013, leaving the Blues in danger of going 10 years without a victory.

Pochettino was quizzed if Wednesday came at a good time to play Erik ten Hag’s side, who lost to Newcastle United last weekend, but the Chelsea head coach played down any advantage.

He told reporters: “No, I think we cannot change the time. Always it’s good to play at Old Trafford because it’s an amazing place, stadium, fans, team, club. It’s a great opportunity always to play there but I think we are all in similar level with different situations.

“I don’t say that it is a good moment to go there. The most important is to feel ready to compete because we are going to face a team that is going to be tough because they want to win and we want to keep our momentum and build from Brighton and be higher in the table. It’s important for us to be in a different position. “

Pochettino concluded: “It’s a game that we need to go there and try to win.”

Here is what the Absolute Chelsea team believes the outcome of the Premier League clash between Manchester United versus Chelsea will be.
