Chelsea vs Luton Town: Preview, team news, how to watch, kick-off time & prediction
Chelsea face Luton Town at Stamford Bridge as Mauricio Pochettino searches for his first Premier League win in charge.
Pochettino‘s side come up against the newly-promoted Hatters back in west London, with Chelsea yet to clinch victory from their first two games this season.
An opening day draw against Liverpool was followed by a London derby defeat to West Ham, who finished the game with 10 men, after David Moyes’ side put three past Robert Sanchez.
On Friday’s clash, Pochettino said: “It is going to be a tough game. We were watching them and analysing them and I think they are a strong team. It is so clear in the way that they play 1352, they run really fast in transition and are strong in set pieces.
“It is a team we need to respect and we need to be humble and ready to match them in how they are going to be. We play the way we can play.”
Chelsea will continue to be without the likes of Reece James and Christopher Nkunku. Carney Chukwuemeka and Mykhailo Mudryk will also be absent after sustaining injuries over the course of the last week.
Moises Caicedo is in line to make his full debut since joining from Brighton & Hove Albion, though Romeo Lavia is a ‘few weeks’ away from being ready after his arrival from Southampton this summer.
Here are all of the details ahead of Chelsea versus Luton Town in the Premier League.
