Confirmed Officials: Chelsea vs Liverpool | Premier League

The officials have been confirmed for Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

Mauricio Pochettino will take charge of his first Premier League game in charge of Chelsea after taking over this summer and he will come up against Jurgen Klopp’s side in west London.

They are looking to improve on their dismal campaign last season, finishing 12th in the league, and Pochettino has been given a tricky start as he looks to begin with a victory.

Now the officials for the league meeting have been revealed by the Premier League ahead of the encounter.


Referee

The Premier League have confirmed that Anthony Taylor will take charge of the meeting in London.

Assistants

Anthony Taylor will be supported by Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn on the touchline.

Fourth Official

David Coote has been named as the Fourth Official for Sunday’s match, with the referee overseeing conduct within the two dugouts, and the behaviour of Mauricio Pochettino and Jurgen Klopp.

VAR/Assistant VAR

Overviewing proceedings from Stockley Park on Sunday afternoon will be Darren England, who has been named as the Video Assistant Referee, with the Assistant Video Assistant Referee being Simon Bennett.
