Chelsea face Wolves in the Premier League and the confirmed team news is in from Molineux.

Frank Lampard returns for his first game in charge of Chelsea in over two years after departing in January 2021. He was appointed as caretaker manager earlier this week until the end of the season, replacing Graham Potter who was axed after less than seven months.

Chelsea are currently 11th in the Premier League ahead of Saturday’s meeting and face Julen Lopetegui’s side who are three places below the Blues, without a win in their last three and just one point above the relegation zone.

Lampard will be hoping to get off to the perfect start, claiming all three points and building the positive mood in the Chelsea camp ahead of facing Real Madrid on Wednesday night in the Champions League.

But Lopetegui is ready to crash Lampard’s return party, admitting: “Chelsea is maybe one of the best squads in the world, a lot of top players in all of the positions.

“With a new coach, we don’t know if he will change anything or not. This is not under our control. We have to put the focus in our work.”

Here is the confirmed team news from the Midlands as Wolves take on Chelsea.
