Fulham vs Chelsea: Confirmed team news for Premier League clash
Chelsea face Fulham in the Premier League and the team news is in from Craven Cottage.
Mauricio Pochettino‘s side are looking to get back to winning ways in the league after losing 1-0 to Aston Villa last time out as they slumped to another defeat with 10-men following Malo Gusto‘s red card, which will see the Frenchman suspended for the west London derby.
Nicolas Jackson is also out through suspension, but Pochettino is hoping last Wednesday’s Carabao Cup win over Brighton & Hove Albion will offer them the confidence to make it back-to-back wins in all competitions on Monday night.
“I think it was a really important victory,” admitted the 51-year-old, “not only because that victory puts us into the next round of the Carabao Cup, but to build our trust and for our confidence.
“I think another solid performance which we translate into a victory which the players need, the team need and the fans also need. The effort was fantastic from the team. This situation can make us stronger and make us confident for Monday.”
The Premier League clash will get underway at 8pm BST in the capital.
