Linked January transfer target breaks silence on Chelsea & AC Milan interest amid Aston Villa admission
Jhon Duran has delivered an update on his Aston Villa future amid links to Chelsea and AC Milan this month.
The 20-year-old has made 23 appearances for Villa this season in all competitions, scoring four times and registering one assist.
Unai Emery’s side are currently in third place in the Premier League and chasing Champions League football for 2024-25.
According to Nathan Gissing, Duran has been internally discussed at Chelsea this month as a potential short-term option, however no decision has yet been made by the club.
Meanwhile, Sky in Italy recently reported Duran was offered to AC Milan in recent days through his entourage and he would be very happy to move to Milan.
Duran has now broken his silence and confirmed he is not aware of any January interest and Aston Villa remains his focus.
He told Win Sports TV: “I have my head in Aston Villa. I am not aware of interest (from) AC Milan or Chelsea.
“They are giant clubs and it would be a pleasure, but I have no knowledge of anything. As a child you dream of playing there.”
