The Chelsea team news has been confirmed ahead of their Sunday evening clash against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are aiming to win their first piece of silverware under his management but face a tough task at Wembley against Premier League leaders Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp’s side won in this final against The Blues in 2022 on penalties but will be without several key players for this clash.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are without Thiago Silva among others, with the game coming too soon for the experienced Brazilian, who rejoined partial team training earlier this week.

Last month, the Blues lost 4-1 against Liverpool in the league and are considered the underdogs going into the match.

Chelsea are coming off the back of a positive result against Manchester City last weekend, where they drew 1-1 with the reigning Premier League champions.
