Chelsea host Preston North End in the FA Cup third round on Saturday evening at Stamford Bridge.

After their Carabao Cup penalty shootout heroics against Newcastle United saw Chelsea book a semi-final spot, the FA Cup brings another opportunity of silverware for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Chelsea have won their last two games since Christmas, beating both Crystal Palace and Luton Town with one goal separating each of the Premier League matches.

Pochettino’s side will be hoping to kickstart 2024 with victory and in their way are Preston, who are 14th in the Championship and have lost their previous two fixtures.
