Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea message offers Newcastle, Brighton & Man Utd post-international break warning

Mauricio Pochettino has expressed his pride and delight towards his side after their 4-4 draw against Manchester City, and has now challenged them to ‘build something special’ at Chelsea.
A stoppage time equaliser from Cole Palmer from the penalty spot ensured Chelsea weren’t left empty-handed on Sunday evening at Stamford Bridge as they played their part in a thrilling affair in the capital against the Premier League holders.
Chelsea were more than deserving of their one point which extended their unbeaten run to three games, building on a Carabao Cup victory over Blackburn Rovers and the 4-1 thrashing of Tottenham Hotspur.

Now the international break leaves a 10 or so day gap until their next match as they head into the busy festive period before the end of the year.
Chelsea face Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester United straight after the break and Pochettino has told his players to step up to the challenge to continue the ‘high moments’.
“Extremely proud and happy of the players for the attitude and results they have produced in two difficult fixtures during this week,” wrote Pochettino on Instagram.
“It is really satisfying to go to an international break with this feeling, although I prefer we have another game more sooner!
“We want to build something special (at Chelsea) and this is exactly the way we want the players to perform and feel.

“Already this season we have had some high and low moments and the players are showing everyone the capacity they have to compete with any side.
“Thank you everyone for continuing to show such a great support for the team.”
