Newcastle United vs Chelsea: Confirmed team news for Premier League clash

Chelsea take on Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon and the confirmed team news is in from St. James’ Park.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side travel north to face Eddie Howe’s Magpies who have suffered defeats in their last two games, while Chelsea have won two of their previous three in all competitions.

After beating Tottenham and drawing to Man City, Pochettino is hoping to extend their positive run ahead of entering the December festive schedule.

On Howe, Pochettino: “When we arrived to Southampton he was at Bournemouth and I think doing a great job. Great manager, one of the best coaches in England. Need to remember he arrived at Newcastle wen they were bottom and look where Newcastle is.

“He deserves full credit, the organisation of course, we know very well they are doing a fantastic job, Eddie is still young but with experience, one of the most talented coaches in England and in Europe.”

The Premier League clash will get underway at 3pm (UK time) and will not be available to watch live in the United Kingdom..
