Graham Potter’s future at Chelsea is under scrutiny ahead of their crucial fixtures against Leeds United and Borussia Dortmund, and the Blues boss will be watched closely by the hierarchy.

The 47-year-old is starting to feel the pressure at Chelsea and for one of the first times, Potter made that publicly clear following their 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea have lost their last three matches, winless in six, and have scored just six goals since November 6 in all competitions, increasing the frustrating at Stamford Bridge amongst supporters are becoming, if they haven’t already, disgruntled at the poor results since October which has led them to just two wins in 16.

The Chelsea owners are unmoved in their stance of backing Potter, who still retains the support of his players, however the Daily Telegraph does report that ‘senior players said to be concerned over whether or not Potter can turn the situation around’ in west London.

Co-owner Todd Boehly was in attendance on his own to witness the Spurs defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, looking miserable and frustrated in parts, and the next two games he and other members of the hierarchy may have to make a big decision.

It’s claimed by Matt Law that the fixtures against Leeds United and Borussia Dortmund could be ‘make or break’ for Potter, with the ‘growing feeling’ that the two games in the next eight days may decide his future in the capital.

Chelsea will be desperate to get positive results against Leeds and Dortmund, both of which are at Stamford Bridge in front of their home crowd, however all eyes will be on Potter.

It’s also reported by the Daily Telegraph that Boehly scheduled to be joined by co-controlling owner Behdad Eghbali for the two games in the next week or so.

Chelsea have a big week of preparations ahead of them as they look to end their losing run, as well as progressing in the Champions League.

Potter was handed a boost on Monday after N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic stepped up their injury returns having joined in part of the training session at Cobham.

Nizaar Kinsella reports Boehly was down in the dressing room area with Potter and the team after the defeat to Spurs. That unity is believed to be helping maintain the support in the dressing room.

Reece James was quick to come to the defence of the 47-year-old on Sunday, insisting his ability isn’t questionable and that the squad are doing everything they can to turn things around.

“Everyone has seen how good of a manager he is,” James told beINSPORTS. “That showed at Brighton when he was in and around the top four. His ability isn’t questionable.”

He added: “He’s in a similar position to us players. As much stick he gets, we’re the ones playing. We’re in it together.”
