Chelsea head to the south coast to face an in-form AFC Bournemouth side in the Premier League this weekend.

Gary O’Neil has almost steered Bournemouth to another season of top-flight football after clinching four wins from their last five league games, which sees the Cherries now in 13th place and level on points with Chelsea.

Bournemouth welcome caretaker Frank Lampard’s side to the Vitality Stadium looking to inflict more misery on the Blues following a run of six straight defeats since the 44-year-old was placed in temporary charge.

Chelsea won the reverse fixture earlier this season at Stamford Bridge thanks to goals from Kai Havertz and Mason Mount and will hope to end their losing run with a league double over Bournemouth.

Lampard has been full of praise for his managerial counterpart, O’Neil, ahead of the game, telling reporters: “A great job, full credit to him. I don’t know any of the details behind the scenes. He’s done a lot of good work there.

“He’s created a team with high energy, high quality, feeling of togetherness at the club. Considering where he came in, he’s done a good job and getting the credit he rightfully deserves.”

Here is all the information for the league encounter:
