Chelsea will learn their Carabao Cup second round opponents when the draw is made on Wednesday night.

Mauricio Pochettino‘s side enter at the second round stage after finishing outside of the European places in the Premier League last season following a dismal campaign that saw Chelsea finish in 12th place.

The 12 Premier League sides enter the draw for the ties which will be played at the end of August as they join the other 36 EFL sides.

Chelsea will be joined by Spurs which opens up the possibility of a reunion with Pochettino and his former side ahead of the league clash in November.
