Confirmed Officials: Chelsea vs Brentford | Premier League

The officials have been confirmed for Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Brentford at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Frank come together on the touchline for the first time as their sides, Chelsea and Brentford, face off in the west London derby.

“He is doing a fantastic job in a club that can develop his idea,” responded Pochettino on Frank. “I think he is doing a fantastic job.”

Pochettino added: “It is going to be a tough game because they are a very good team. I think it is a very tough team to play against. They use two different formations, sometimes they play with 1433 or 1532. We’ll see.

“We’re ready to face a team that is a very good team, good players. It is a nice challenge for us.”

Now the officials for the league meeting have been revealed by the Premier League ahead of the encounter.


Referee

The Premier League have confirmed that Simon Hooper will take charge of the meeting in the capital.

Simon Hooper will be supported by Adrian Holmes and Simon Long on the touchline.

Fourth Official

Graham Scott has been named as the Fourth Official for Saturday’s match, with the referee overseeing conduct within the two dugouts, and the behaviour of Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Frank.

VAR/Assistant VAR

Overviewing proceedings from Stockley Park on Saturday afternoon will be Craig Pawson, who has been named as the Video Assistant Referee, with the Assistant Video Assistant Referee being Darren Cann.
