Confirmed Officials: Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest | Premier League
The officials have been confirmed for Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
Mauricio Pochettino and Chelsea welcome Steve Cooper’s side to the capital for their fourth Premier League outing of the season.
It’s been an average start for Chelsea so far – one win, one draw and one loss. They are on a two game winning streak and will be hoping to extend it to three in all competitions come full-time.
Cole Palmer was the final addition to the squad following a flurry of activity in the summer transfer window, with Pochettino believing the England Under-21 international is a great fit for what they are trying to build in west London.
Pochettino said: “I think he is fit for the project and a young and talented player. He decides to come because he expects to play maybe more and be and be important here but I think that is not the most important, the important thing is he wants to come because he has seen Chelsea has a project for him and a way to improve his game and to be more involved.
“The quality is there and the potential and now he needs to prove and show he is better than his teammates. It’s about fighting for his place.”
It remains unclear if he will make his debut for Chelsea against Forest, but Palmer was involved in training at Cobham on Friday ahead of the match.
Now the officials for the league meeting have been revealed by the Premier League ahead of the encounter.
