It’s set to be an extremely busy final day in the January transfer window for Chelsea with incomings and outgoings expected.

Graham Potter‘s side have already made seven signings in January following the arrivals of David Datro Fofana, Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos, Joao Felix (loan), Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Malo Gusto.

Bashir Humphreys and Cesare Casadei have both departed on loan until the end of the season to Paderborn and Reading, respectively, but further departures are expected on deadline day as Chelsea look to continue to revamp their squad under Potter.

So what could happen on Deadline Day for Chelsea?

Enzo Fernandez is set to sign from Benfica after talks progressed between the clubs on Monday over a deal which is in excess of his €120 million release clause. Chelsea are expected to pay a significant fee upfront, with the rest spread across a number of payments.

Moises Caicedo has also been linked. Chelsea are reportedly considering a last-ditch move for the Brighton midfielder, who has also been the subject of several rejected bids by Arsenal in the final week of the window.

Hakim Ziyech is in talks with PSG over a loan move, with reports stating an option to buy at the end of the season could be included.

Conor Gallagher was the subject of a £45 million bid from Everton, but made it clear he didn’t want to join. As reported in Germany, Chelsea are now accepting of Gallagher’s fate and could now allow Jorginho to join Arsenal instead, with the Premier League leaders expressing strong interest in the out-of-contract midfielder.

Matt Law claims Chelsea are ready to sort out the futures of Jorginho and Ziyech once Fernandez’s deal has been finalised.

Chelsea are likely to still listen to offers for Gallagher though amid strong interest in the England international, including from Newcastle United.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been linked with Newcastle, according to Mark Douglas, who will monitor the 27-year-old heading into the latter stages of the window.

Other outgoings are expected to go through, with Jude Soonsup-Bell also on the verge of joining Tottenham.

How many deals, both in and out, that will happen in the final 23 hours remains unclear, but it will be a hectic deadline day for Chelsea.
