Paris Saint-Germain are in advanced negotiations with Chelsea over the signing of Hakim Ziyech, while the Blues are also considering a late move for Moises Caicedo.

This comes after a day of negotiations which has seen Chelsea come close to reaching an agreement for the transfer of Enzo Fernandez.

The 22-year-old has been a long-term target for Chelsea, who opened talks over a move earlier in the transfer window.

However, Benfica demanded Fernandez’s release clause of £105 million be met, and the Blues were unwilling to do so.

Negotiations in recent days have seen Chelsea and Benfica discuss the structure of the deal, with a move now looking likely as the Blues are set to agree a deal worth in excess of £105 million.

But the transfer drama does not stop here for Chelsea, who are reportedly in negotiations with PSG over the departure of Ziyech.

According to Le Equipe, the French champions are discussing a move for Ziyech with Chelsea,.

Nothing is agreed yet but the winger is open to moving to Paris, with the club hoping to secure a deal before the window closes.

Discussions are said to be ‘progressing very quickly’ and a deal could be reached before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.

Journalist Abdellah Boulma added to this information, revealing that any deal would be a loan move for Ziyech.

Furthermore, Chelsea could also make a late move for Caicedo despite their interest in Fernandez.

The Brighton midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge and shares a strong relationship with Graham Potter.

However, Arsenal had appeared to be the frontrunners for the Ecuador international and recently saw a bid of £70 million rejected.

It looks like they could miss out on the 21-year-old, with Jorginho linked as an alternative to move to the Emirates this January.

It now looks like Chelsea could do the impossible and pull off a double midfield signing in the final days of the transfer window.

As reported by Jacob Steinberg, Chelsea could make a last-ditch move for Caicedo.

It remains to be seen as to whether there is time to do a deal, with Brighton adamant that they will not sell their midfielder.

If the Blues see any departures, such as Jorginho to Arsenal or Conor Gallagher, who has been subject of a £45 million bid from Everton, there could still be movement for Caicedo.
